Date:11/19/2012

PHOENIX, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The world's leading chain of laser tattoo removal clinics, Dr. TATTOFF, has partnered with Astanza Laser, a leading manufacturer of q-switched lasers specifically designed for tattoo removal. Q-switched lasers, such as the Astanza system in the Phoenix clinic, are widely recognized as the gold standard for effective treatment for unwanted tattoos. Use of tattoo removal lasers has grown rapidly in response to patient demand for a solution to "tattoo regret."

Dr. TATTOFF's growing chain of nationwide clinics specialize in performing laser tattoo removal and since 2004 have supported the provision of more than 170,000 laser procedures. Their newest clinic, which opened last week in Phoenix, is the latest to use Astanza Laser's tattoo removal machines. For the past five months, their Houston location has operated a system from Astanza and has seen great feedback from staff and patients alike.

Dr. Kirby, Medical Director of Dr. TATTOFF and Board-Certified Dermatologist, is pleased with the Astanza Laser system used at the Phoenix clinic and stated, "We pride ourselves on our vast experience, medical expertise and quality care, and this device helps us maintain the highest standards."

Tattoos and tattoo removal are both huge trends. A Harris Interactive poll conducted in January 2012 reported that as many as 21% of American adults have a tattoo, and 49% of 18-29 year olds have at least one tattoo. Laser tattoo removal as an aesthetic laser procedure has grown rapidly in popularity with as many as half of individuals with tattoos expressing regret. Dr. TATTOFF and Astanza Laser are among the best-positioned companies to provide services to this growing demographic. The partnership of these two industry specialists offers benefits to patients nationwide.
