Dr. Fischer Said It Will Notify Pediatricians That Its Baby Eyelid Wipes Are Available At U.S. Pharmacies Contrary To What A Competitor Is Saying In Advertising About Its Wipes For Babies Being The 'First And Only' In The U.S. Market

NEW YORK, Aug. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Fischer, the global pharmaceutical company based in Israel, said today it will send a letter to Pediatricians, Ophthalmologists and Pharmacists notifying them that its baby eyelid wipes have been available for some time at U.S. pharmacies contrary to what an eye-care competitor is saying in advertising about its baby eyelid & eyelash cleanser being the "first and only" such wipes in the U.S. market.

Not only does it plan to correct the record, but Dr. Fischer will take the opportunity also to point out that no one can miss its brand and world famous logo in pharmacies and that its eye-care wipes for babies individually are not only a superior product according to many pediatricians, but even much larger in size than the competitor's brand. 

"Dr. Fischer's baby eyelid wipes have been available at U.S. pharmacies since December 2008," said Tom Madden, CEO of  Dr. Fischer's public relations firm in the U.S., TransMedia Group (www.transmediagroup.com).   

"The Dr. Fischer eye-care for babies product started out on a small scale at private pharmacies and since June of this year distribution and sales have expanded significantly as more and more pediatricians and pharmacists started recommending Dr. Fischer Baby Eye-Care Wipes as well as other Dr. Fischer eye-care products," Madden said.

"All that Dr. Fischer is seeking to do is to make it known that there is not only one, but two eyelid wipes for children on the market and that Dr. Fischer's product has been available for some time," Madden said. 

"There's no reason why competitors can't compete amicably as long as that what they say about the market is accurate."
