Dr. David Brailer and Stephen Dubner Keynotes for NYeC 2012 Digital Health Conference

NEW YORK, June 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) proudly announces the keynote speakers for its second annual Digital Health Conference, October 15-16 in New York City: Stephen J. Dubner, co-author of Freakonomics, and Dr. David J. Brailer, Chairman of Health Evolution Partners.

  • David J. Brailer, MD, PhD, is a former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and is the current Chairman of Health Evolution Partners. Dr. Brailer is known around the world as the father of the health information technology movement in the United States.  
  • Stephen J. Dubner is an award-winning journalist and co-author of the international bestsellers Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics, which together sold over 4 million copies. Dubner has taken economic research and made it accessible to the public in ways that have been described as both fascinating and irreverent. 

The event will be held at Pier Sixty, on the Manhattan waterfront. Healthcare providers, IT innovators, healthcare leaders, start-ups, hospital administrators, public officials and venture capitalists will gather to hear insights, ideas, and analysis from leaders in the health IT and healthcare communities.
