ute advances state-of-the-art pediatric health care practice through dedicated laboratory and clinical research. Based on the concept of translational research, the institute is designed to take clinical problems from patients' bedsides to study in the laboratory. Laboratory discoveries are then converted into new treatments, preventions, therapies and cures for patients. Children's Research Institute is affiliated with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and is a member of Children's Hospital and Health System.
