Dignitana, Inc. to Sponsor Susan G. Komen® Events in Dallas, New York and Los Angeles
Date:2/14/2020

Dignitana AB, world leader in scalp cooling innovation, announced today that its U.S. subsidiary, Dignitana, Inc., has signed on to sponsor three signature events in 2020 with Susan G. Komen®. The sponsorship extends Dignitana’s reach to hundreds of thousands of participants in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and MORE THAN PINK Walk® events in key Dignitana markets throughout year.

Dignitana is a proud supporter of Susan G. Komen and their mission to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.

“As the world’s leading nonprofit breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen launched a movement that has made a worldwide impact in the fight against breast cancer,” says William Cronin, CEO of Dignitana. “We are honored to support Susan G. Komen and the important work they do from the community level up.”

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created. It celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. Komen’s MORE THAN PINK Walk® brings together an empowered community of hope to raise funds for breast cancer treatment, patient advocacy and lifesaving research.

“Susan G. Komen remains committed to the fight against breast cancer, taking every step we can toward our mission of saving lives and supporting those affected by breast cancer,” says Carrie Stovall, Vice President, Fundraising and Events at Susan G. Komen. “We are so grateful for supporters like Dignitana and look forward to seeing the impact our partnership will make.”

The alliance kicks off this month with the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk® Los Angeles County on February 29 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California and will be followed by the prestigious Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Greater New York City on September 13. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the sponsorship will be in Dignitana, Inc.’s “backyard,” with the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk® Dallas County held on October 24 at the North Park Center in Dallas, Texas.

Since its founding, Komen has funded more than $1 billion in research and invested more than $2.3 billion to provide screening, diagnostics, education, treatment and psychosocial support to people in communities across the U.S. and in 60 countries worldwide.
