Digital Pharmacist Appoints Kevin Mayes as General Manager & Senior Vice President, Patient Solutions

AUSTIN, Texas, April 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Pharmacist Inc., a rapidly growing digital health company, today announced the appointment of Kevin Mayes as general manager and senior vice president of patient solutions.  Mr. Mayes is responsible for developing and deploying products that help Digital Pharmacist's 6,000 pharmacies and four million patients achieve better health outcomes.

Prior to joining Digital Pharmacist, Mr. Mayes served as chief executive officer at PrescriptIQ, a SaaS-based prescription decision system that helps physicians identify the right medications for a patient using their genetic information.  From December 2015 to May 2016, Mr. Mayes was chief product officer at Televero Health, a developer of mobile apps for the post-acute home care market.  From October 2013 to December 2015, Mr. Mayes served as managing director, product management at the Advisory Board Company where he led a team of 200 employees and oversaw the population health product portfolio.  From October 2009 to October 2013, Mr. Mayes served as senior vice president, product management at Care Team Connect, a cloud-based care coordination software company, acquired by the Advisory Board Company.  Prior to this, Mr. Mayes served in several senior digital roles, including director, global web strategy and knowledge management at Aon Corporation and co-founder of Integrated Digital Solutions, a Chicago-based web development company. 

Mr. Mayes graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts and is a certified project management professional.  He is a frequent digital health industry speaker.
