DenMat(R) Adds New Versatility for Esthetic and Diagnostic Treatment Options with Snap-On Smile Acquisition

SANTA MARIA, Calif., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- DenMat Holdings, LLC, has recently announced its acquisition of the Snap-On Smile® brand and all intellectual property surrounding it. Snap-On Smile will be produced exclusively by DenMat's LUMINEERS® Smile Design Studio, an ISO 9001 certified laboratory offering a comprehensive range of superior esthetic and restorative services.  For over 30 years, DenMat has been providing quality product solutions to dentists and their patients. With proprietary technology and proven clinical materials, the LUMINEERS Smile Design Studio is a leading choice for both minimally invasive and traditional-preparation restorations.

The Snap-On Smile is a patented, removable custom appliance requiring no prepping, no injections and no adhesives, which simply snaps over a patient's natural teeth. Applications include using the Snap-On Smile as esthetic provisionals in implant cases, a vehicle for increasing facial height (vertical dimension), cosmetic removable partial dentures, and even as a long-term smile enhancement. As a non-invasive option, it's easily removable and completely reversible.

"Snap-On Smile means real versatility for the dental practice.  It's a practical and effective solution for solving a wide variety of short- and long-term clinical challenges, as it serves as both a non-invasive restorative option as well as a diagnostic appliance," said Eric Relyea, DenMat's Vice President, Marketing.

A result of DenMat's ongoing strategic acquisitions and partnerships, Snap-On Smile represents the latest addition to DenMat's Smile Continuum of esthetic and diagnostic products. "This is our third important transaction within the last six months.  DenMat is committed to continued growth through innovation and technology, and will continue to make acquisitions and strategic alliances consistent with its mission to be the global leader in minimally invasive oral health care. DenMat products are currently available in over 68 countries," commented Stephen A. Ziskind, Chief Executive Officer, DenMat.

Marc Liechtung, DMD, PC, and Chairman and Inventor of Snap-On Smile, further remarked, "I'm pleased to have a product that I invented associated with a quality organization like DenMat. We share a dedication to minimally invasive dentistry and I believe that Snap-On Smile will now reach many more patients and become the product that I envisioned it to be."
