De Novo Software Launches New Version of FCS Express for Flow and Image Cytometry

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- De Novo Software, a leading provider of flow cytometry data analysis and reporting solutions, announced today the release of the next version of their flagship product line, FCS Express™ – to customers in clinical, research and pharmaceutical markets worldwide.

David Novo, De Novo Software's president, said: "The new version was completely rewritten to support multi-core computer architecture, advanced Image Cytometry analysis and plate-based analysis for both Flow and Image Cytometry. We incorporated hundreds of suggestions from users to maintain FCS Express' status as the best-of-breed cytometry data analysis software."

FCS Express is predominant for results reporting in clinical flow cytometry and the new release is expected to be well received in the clinical market. "We focused on improving ease-of-use and addressing requests for even more flexible and detailed reporting," said Tanya Tolmachoff, Director of Sales and Marketing at De Novo Software.

In addition, De Novo Software invested significant resources to expand their market footprint and customer's capability for processing Image Cytometry data by announcing the release of the first version of FCS Express 4 Image Cytometry, developed specifically for advanced analysis and reporting of Cellular Imaging data.
