About RLS

According to the National Institutes of Health, up to 12 million people in the U.S. are afflicted with RLS across a range of severity from mild to severe. RLS was identified in the early 1940's by neurologist Dr. Karl Ekbom, and is characterized by a compelling urge to move the legs and by uncomfortable and unpleasant sensations in the legs often described as creeping-crawling, throbbing, pulling or tightening.
