DSI Renal Expands Georgia Presence with Conyers and Kennesaw Dialysis Clinics

CONYERS and KENNESAW, Ga., Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DSI Renal, a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, has expanded its presence in Georgia with the opening of two new, state-of-the-art dialysis centers.  DSI Conyers Dialysis and DSI Kennesaw Home Dialysis offer exceptional medical care, upscale patient amenities and convenient access to dialysis patients in the greater Atlanta areas of Conyers and Kennesaw.

"The growing number of ESRD, or end-stage renal disease, patients in the Conyers area makes it an ideal location for this new clinic, which provides in-center dialysis treatment as well as home training services in a spacious, beautiful setting," said Ekundayo Falase , M.D., Co-Medical Director with Dr. Sitharam Nandigam at DSI Conyers Dialysis.  "We are proud to continue partnering with DSI Renal to deliver their patient focused care model to a greater population."

DSI Conyers Dialysis is easily accessed from I-20 east, located at 1927 Highway 138 North near Rockdale Hospital.  The 13-station facility offers patient amenities such as heated massage chairs, individual station flat-screen TVs, internet access and plenty of free, private parking.  In-center hemodialysis services are offered, and training for home treatment is also available.

The new DSI Kennesaw Home Dialysis clinic is the only dialysis center in the Kennesaw area that focuses exclusively on home-based dialysis services.  Patients visit the facility to receive initial training for in-home peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis, and return for regular physician examinations and monitoring at one convenient location.  The clinic address is 1925 Vaughn Road NW, near Marietta Square and Kennestone Hospital and accessible from I-75/I-575.

"Partnering with DSI to provide dialysis services for my patients continues to be a positive experience, which is why I'm excited to announce the expansion of our relationship with this unique new clinic," said Dinesh Bhatia , M.D., Medical Director at DSI Kennesaw Home Dialysis.  "Physician access to DSI's management team is unparalleled in this industry; it results in a very cooperative environment that ultimately benefits patients."

"It is extremely gratifying to earn the trust of our physician partners and continue building on our existing relationships," said Craig Goguen , President and Chief Executive Officer at Nashville-based DSI Renal.  "Expanding our partnerships with the Medical Directors at these new facilities indicates that our effort to collaborate with physicians and foster two-way communication is a model that is working for everyone involved—most importantly our patients."
