Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Reports First Quarter 2011 Financial Results
Date:5/4/2011

In addition to commencing manufacturing, the Company is implementing a Phase II clinical study for Hepatoren and intends to develop the product as an Orphan Drug for which it will pursue seven years of marketing exclusivity. Patent applications have been filed to protect intellectual property related to the product. Cumberland believes the new product candidate is an excellent strategic fit given the Company's established presence in the hospital acute care market.
