Cosmetic Surgery Solicitors Warn of Potential Risks Posed by Dermal Fillers
Date:7/15/2013

of dermal fillers going wrong and implications we highlighted in the documentary, we encounter an increasing number of patients seeking compensation following the administer of dermal fillers.

"At Cosmetic Surgery Solicitors we witness first-hand the crushing effect that dermal fillers going wrong can have on people's lives which often require prolonged and expensive corrective treatment. One current case we handle is for a patient who went blind in one eye immediately after being injected with a dermal filler.

"We have an unrivalled reputation for handling dermal fillers claims and achieving the best possible outcome for our clients through what is often a very traumatic and emotional experience for them to deal with.

"The prevalence of unsatisfactory dermal filler procedures is explained by the unregulated nature of the cosmetic surgery industry which enables far too many untrained practitioners to currently provide substandard treatment - often using dangerous substances.

"With so many pitfalls and dangers associated with this type of treatment I'd urge patients considering dermal fillers to ensure they seek treatment from an established, experienced and reputable practitioner."

A recent survey of The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) members revealed that more than two thirds (69%) of surgeons encountered patients suffering complications from temporary fillers, whilst nearly half (49%) of surgeons saw problems with semi-or permanent fillers. Out of those patients who suffered problems with permanent substances, nearly nine out of ten (84%) required corrective surgery or were deemed untreatable due to the damage caused when dermal fillers have gone wrong.

Have you recently undergone a dermal fillers procedure that you're not happy with as a result of cosmetic surgery gone wrong where
