Date:3/27/2013

NOBLESVILLE, Ind., March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RMI (www.rmi.us.com), a Noblesville, Indiana contract manufacturer of medical and aerospace products, today hosted "Hoosier JobsRoots", a Central Indiana jobs roundtable sponsored by U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly . The event is an effort bringing together business owners, educators, and other community leaders to talk about ideas for how, on the federal level, he can push for business-friendly legislation and common sense improvements to make job creation a little easier in communities across Indiana.

"We're pleased to host this forum and to participate in the Senator's effort to promote job creation in our state," says President and General Manager Jim Evans .

When asked why he chose RMI for this event, Senator Donnelly stated, "RMI is creating the sort of high-skills manufacturing jobs that are leading Indiana's recovery.  I'm proud that they welcomed our jobs roundtable to discuss how to create more high-paying jobs for Hoosier families."

RMI's legacy dates back to 1995 as a contract manufacturer of medical devices. At the end of 2011 RMI relocated to a 33,000 square-foot manufacturing space in Noblesville, increasing company's capacity and ability to quickly design and produce custom orders. The company's core competencies include fully integrated services in CAD/CAM engineering, CNC milling, turning, and wire EDM, process development, material sourcing, laser marking, assembly and packaging.

The company is FDA registered and their quality certifications include ISO 13485:2003, ISO 9001:2008, and AS9100C:2009. The AS9100C certification was achieved earlier this year as part of a strategic effort to provide products to the aviation, defense and space Industries.

RMI is a growing team of manufacturing professionals, always on the lookout for superior talent. Whether working with customers to launch new technologies or improve existing products, RMI innovates manufacturing processes that allow for improved quality and superior time to market.
