on of the monthly medical record fee; fewer callbacks from the pharmacy for clarifications, eliminating nursing frustration and more time to focus on residents.

Freedom of Choice in Integration.  Remedi is working with the leading electronic health record system providers to test and certify integration. This permits facilities to choose the system they prefer for electronic medication administration and electronic order entry, including Remedi's eOE system.

Increased Accuracy & Safety.  Connexit requires only one transcription, as orders are received and entered by the clinician, with the need for handwritten and faxed orders being eliminated. Order compliance and accuracy is ensured with intuitive step-by-step guidance to reduce the risk for errors, and important clinical alerts are delivered at the time of order to promote resident safety.

Faster Delivery Speed.  Connexit guarantees a faster order turnaround as orders are received by a pharmacist the moment one is placed, significantly expediting the clinical screening process. With immediate expert interaction, treatment delays are significantly reduced and screening issues are identified more quickly. Combined with Remedi's innovative Paxit medication dispensing system, the real-time communication of resident discharges and order changes virtually eliminates wasteful dispensing of medications.

"Orders are delivered in real-time to Remedi pharmacists where they are reviewed and screened, so the process and delivery is significantly faster, enabling a quicker start of resident treatment and an earlier opportunity to detect and report important clinical screening issues. We believe it's an important element in the future of medication administration," Bronfein added.

In early use, Connexit has been shown to significantly improve medication order accuracy while saving up to 80 hours of nursing time each month, le
