Clinical Education Alliance Underscores the Critical Role Pharmacists Have in Healthcare Today Through Its Merger with ProCE
Date:8/26/2020

Clinical Education Alliance (CEA) Holdings company today announced that it has entered into definitive agreement to acquire ProCE, a nationally recognized provider of continuing education for healthcare professionals CME/CE, primarily focused on pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

CEA represents a growing alliance of CME/CE and service organizations that together improve patient care through the delivery clinically relevant, evidence-based educational activities and turnkey solutions. This alliance, consisting of Clinical Care Options®, LLC (CCO) and Practicing Clinicians Exchange (PCE), now welcomes ProCE as the newest strategic partner in this CEA evolution.

“We are thrilled to join CEA. This collaboration allows ProCE to build upon our strength in core areas such as infectious diseases, specialty pharmacy, and the operational aspects of pharmacy practice while also expanding our content into new therapeutic areas. Our union provides expanded education for our dedicated professional audience, extends our reach globally, and aligns with our interprofessional education goal of improving patient outcomes,” said Richard Lewis, Chief Executive Officer of ProCE.

ProCE has served the healthcare industry since 1999 as a nationally recognized provider of continuing education, providing cutting-edge CME and CE opportunities. Delivering more than 94,000 CE hours in 2019 and already more than 104,000 in 2020 to both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, this expansion is a perfect fit with CEA.

“CEA strives to improve patient care through continuing education for healthcare professionals. We focus on the treatment team, providing education across the continuum and working together to achieve amazing outcomes. This merger expands our shared mission and enhances our reach within the pharmacist community,” said Dan Cox, Chief Executive Officer of CEA.
