China Medical Technologies to Announce Results for the First Fiscal Quarter Ended June 30, 2011 on August 16, 2011

BEIJING, Aug. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Medical Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: CMED), a leading China-based advanced in-vitro diagnostic ("IVD") company, today announced that it will report its unaudited financial results for the first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2011 ("1Q FY2011") before the U.S. market opens on August 16, 2011.

The Company's senior management will host an earnings conference call at 8:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time on August 16, 2011 (8:00 p.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on August 16, 2011).
