China BCT Announces Auditor Change Within PKF Network

LIUZHOU CITY, China, July 19 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China BCT Pharmacy Group, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: CNBI), ("China BCT" or the "Company"), a leading pharmaceutical distributor, retail pharmacy, and manufacturer of pharmaceutical products in Guangxi Province, China, today announced that on July 15, 2010 the Company engaged PKF, Certified Public Accountants, A Professional Corporation, Glendale, California ("PKF California"), a member firm of the PKF International Limited network of legally independent firms, as its principal independent auditor, replacing PKF, Certified Public Accountants, Hong Kong, China ("PKF HK"), also a member firm of the PKF International Limited network of legally independent firms.

The Company's audit committee approved the accounting firm change, which did not result from any dissatisfaction with the quality of professional services rendered by PKF HK. China BCT had no disagreements with PKF HK on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedures, in connection with the audit of the Company's financial statements for the fiscal years ended December 31, 2008, December 31, 2009 and the subsequent interim period through July 15, 2010.
