LONG BRANCH, N.J., July 17, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- 100 Contract Research and Contract Manufacturing Organizations will be exhibiting at this year's September 17-19, 2013 Pharma ChemOutsourcing Show at the Jersey Shore reported Apaporis LLC, the organizer.  The companies offer a wide range of custom chemistry services from early discovery though early- and commercial phase clinical development.

The 2013 exhibitor list

Many exhibitors, like Alphora Research, Helsinn, and Solvias have attended the show since its inception in 2007, whereas others, like MitryChem, Halocarbon Products, and ABCR, are first time visitors.

The excellent exhibitor turnout for the 2013 show coincides with a spike in buyers attending the show.   The number of organic and synthetic chemists from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies has reached a new peak, with many first time attendees from companies located in Cambridge MA, Princeton NJ, San Diego CA, Baltimore MD, and San Francisco CA.

"The small pharmaceutical and especially, "Emerging" ones, want to meet their suppliers in one place, commented Mark Alexay, the ChemOutsourcing  President.  "It makes very efficient use of their time without more trips to Europe or Asia.  Increasingly, contract chemistry work is reviving is the United States as wages rise in Asia and the importance of geographic proximity to one's suppliers during scale up is fully appreciated".

Alexay continued, "The show's still 2 months away and we will attract chemists from over 150 different pharmaceutical companies.  This is a big surprise and great news for exhibitors".  The current list of attending pharmaceutical, emerging, virtual, and other small molecule biotech companies is at

Pharma ChemOutsourcing is now in its 7th year and takes place every September at an upscale beachfront venue at the Jersey Shore.  The show annually attracts 700-800 Pharmaceutical company chemists and suppliers of chemical services to the industry. The show emphasizes Outsourcing of Discovery and Medicinal Chemistry, Process Research, and  Chemical Development of Intermediates, API's, and Commercial Manufacturing.

The other major 2013 benefit for both exhibitors and suppliers is that ChemOutsourcing has integrated the conference sessions into the exhibit halls themselves.  As Alexay commented "In 2013 buyers and sellers will be integrated all day in a single area, the exhibit halls, where they will have ample opportunity to interact.  This completely changes the feel of the show.   Now the spontaneity and easy intimacy necessary to make new contacts has been perfected".
