BUFFALO, N.Y., March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles E. Lannon was appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kinex Pharmaceuticals on March 3, 2010

Mr. Lannon is President of Strategic Advisory, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the fields of health care, real estate, and start-up ventures.  Since 1995, he has served on the Board of Directors for Sovran Self Storage, Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and currently holds the position of chairman of the company's governance committee. From 1982 to 1995, he was a founder and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sovran Self Storage, Inc.
