Catamaran Corporation CEO Mark Thierer to Speak at The Executives' Club of Chicago Breakfast

CHICAGO, Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Thierer, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Catamaran Corporation (formerly SXC Health Solutions) will address an audience of several hundred Chicago business leaders at an Executives' Club breakfast on December 6th at the Swissotel.

Thierer is expected to share how Catamaran, named the No. 1 Fastest-Growing Company in the nation in 2011 by Fortune magazine, has emerged as one of the country's largest pharmacy benefit managers by combining leading technology with holistic solutions.  Serving over 25 million consumers, Catamaran is able to improve patient care while empowering individuals to take charge of their health, creating a smarter approach to medicine.

A 30-year healthcare industry leader, Thierer joined SXC Health Solutions in 2006, was named President & CEO in 2008 and Chairman of the Board and CEO in 2011.
