Castle Access Closes Equity Capital Financing to Provide for Accelerated Growth
Date:2/24/2010

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Castle Access, Inc. (http://www.castleaccess.com), a leading provider of enterprise data centers that support cloud computing, software-as-a-service applications, and mission-critical IT infrastructure, announced today that it has secured strategic equity financing. The investment comes after an exceptional year in which Castle Access achieved double-digit revenue growth despite a challenging macro-economic environment. This additional capital provides for increased investments in data center services and infrastructure expansion. Piper Jaffray & Co. served as financial advisor to Castle Access on this transaction.

The additional multi-million dollar financing will enable Castle Access to substantially deepen its customer support resources, while simultaneously broadening the range of services available to its clients.

Castle Access is known for its state-of-the-art data centers, operational excellence, and unmatched commitment to customer service. The company completed its most recent SAS 70 Type II audit in November of 2009 for its newest enterprise data center in San Diego, California. A SAS 70 Type II audit of data center operations is generally required by public companies and other organizations subject to regulatory compliance. In successfully completing a SAS 70 Type II audit, Castle Access is reaffirming its commitment and capabilities to support highly regulated and publicly traded companies.

"As we look at growth in 2010 and beyond, we believe accelerating our opportunities in the data center and IT managed services is key to addressing our customers' needs in the market," said Mark Hopperton, CEO of Castle Access. "We look forward to increasing our data center footprint and providing innovative technology and solutions that bring value to our clients."

Additional details of the investment will be provided within the next 60 days.
