Cardiac Science Earns Top Marks for Cardiac Stress Test, Telemetry Monitor Systems

WAUKESHA, Wis., Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardiac Science Corporation, a global leader in external defibrillation, diagnostic devices and monitoring systems, earned top-vendor rankings for cardiac stress test and telemetry monitor systems in MD Buyline's 2nd quarter survey of user satisfaction. MD Buyline's user satisfaction trending reports are based on quarterly surveys of end users in clinical settings.

Clinical users rated Cardiac Science superior to competitors in device quality and service areas including System Reliability, Installation/Implementation, Service Repair Time, Service Repair Quality and Applications Training, earning Cardiac Science top composite ratings.

"Our performance reflects the commitment of people at every level of our organization, from the engineers who design our devices to the installers, trainers, and customer support staff who work with our customers in the field," said Neal K. Long, CEO and president of Cardiac Science.

Anshul Vaswaney, Global Service Director of Cardiac Science, added, "We're proud to receive this recognition from one of the leading industry analysts."

Cardiac Science's stress test systems include the Quinton® Q-Stress® (now in its ninth generation), the compact Quinton 9500 Series and the CareCenter™ MD wireless diagnostic workstation. These systems received top-vendor ranking for System Reliability, Installation/Implementation, Applications Training, Service Response Time, and Service Repair Quality, as well as the top Composite rating in the MD Buyline survey.

The company's telemetry monitor system is the Quinton Q-Tel® RMS (Rehabilitation Management System). It's designed to streamline data collection and documentation for cardiac rehabilitation programs and is the first DICOM-compatible cardiac rehabilitation system on the market. When compared with telemetry monitors from seven other vendors, the Q-Tel system earned users' top ratings in every category -- System Performance, System Reliability, Installation/Implementation, Applications Training, Service Response Time, and Service Repair Quality -- as well as the top composite score.
