Cantel Medical Named to the Forbes 2009 List of the '200 Best Small Companies in America'

LITTLE FALLS, N.J., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cantel Medical Corp. (NYSE: CMN) announced today that it was named to the Forbes 2009 list of the "200 Best Small Companies in America." Cantel Medical has been included on this list in eight of the last ten years.

Cantel's President and CEO, Andrew Krakauer stated, "We are pleased to have been recognized for the success the Company has achieved both this year and over the past five years. I share this honor with our 870 hardworking and loyal employees. As a leader in the growing infection prevention and control market, the Company has performed well despite the difficult economic environment. We are optimistic that Cantel is positioned for sustained growth in the future as it will continue to benefit from increased sales of higher margin consumables, including disinfectants, sterilants and face masks, as well as increases in service. These recurring revenues now make up 75% of overall sales."

The Forbes rankings are based on one and five-year sales growth, earnings per share growth and return on equity. To qualify, companies must have sales between $5 million and $750 million, and meet certain share price and other criteria. Forbes also compares a company's stock performance with its industry peers.
