California Cryobank Names Richard Jennings President of FamilyCord Division

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- California Cryobank, a worldwide leader in biotechnology services, has appointed Richard Jennings President of FamilyCord, the company's stem cell services division. Brought in as a consultant with FamilyCord in 2008, Jennings has helped the company redefine its strategic orientation and vision. As President, Jennings will assume responsibility for all stem cell operations, providing the leadership and strategic business focus for the company's continued growth.

Jennings has had extensive experience in healthcare prior to joining California Cryobank, having served as the CEO of Mediscan, Hospital Administrator for CFHS Holdings Inc. and Associate Administrator for Providence Tarzana Medical Center. Early in his career, he worked for Kimberly Clark as brand manager for Huggies diapers. He has been a volunteer CFO for the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce and fundraising chair for the American Heart Association and Habitat for Humanity. Jennings earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
