Cadence, Inc. Expands Executive Team

STAUNTON, Va., April 5, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cadence is pleased to announce that Alan Connor has joined the company as President.  Alan joins the company following years in key leadership roles for major healthcare and life science companies, including most recently as the Vice President and General Manager of Orthopedic Specialties for MicroAire Surgical Instruments in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Prior to his role at MicroAire, Alan worked at Medrad, Inc., a medical device division of Bayer-Schering Pharma, where he gained a wealth of experience in global supply chain management, lean manufacturing, marketing and new product development.  He also has a proven track record of building strong organizations and customer relationships while improving operating efficiencies.
