CVS Caremark Names New Chief Human Resources Officer

WOONSOCKET, R.I., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS) has announced the appointment of Lisa Bisaccia as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective January 1, 2010. Bisaccia will replace Mike Ferdinandi who has announced his retirement.

Bisaccia, who is currently Vice President, Human Resources, CVS Caremark, has more than 30 years of human resources experience. Since joining CVS Caremark in 2004, Bisaccia has made many contributions to the business. She has led major human resources initiatives including enhancing compensation practices, restructuring human resources processing functions, and successfully managing all human resources support for the retail business.

Prior to joining CVS Caremark, Bisaccia held a senior human resources position with FleetBoston Financial as the head of compensation and benefits. Her prior experience also includes human resource consulting in the banking, health care and not-for-profit business segments.
