COLD DADDY Chillers to Seek GSA, Continue Expansion and Service Federal Agencies
Date:9/18/2012

WACO, Texas, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovative Recovery Systems of America (I.R.S.A.), Inc., manufacturers of The COLD DADDY Chiller announced plans today to expand their sales base by applying for a GSA Schedule and actively pursuing federal contracts. Government officials utilize GSA Schedules as a means of procuring goods and services knowing that companies on these schedules have been qualified and thoroughly vetted by the General Services Administration (GSA). COLD DADDY plans on supplying their portable immersion bath chillers to federal agencies including Veteran Affairs and the Armed Forces engaged in overseas conflicts.

"The opportunity to service government accounts opens up significantly more markets throughout the country as our goal continues to be to expand our sales," states IRSA co-founder, Walter Abercrombie. He continues, "Getting our company on a GSA schedule will expand our reach beyond the federal level to numerous state and county agencies as their constituents can experience the benefits of cold water immersion and the agencies can benefit from set government pricing."

The former Pittsburgh Steelers' running back, Mr. Abercrombie added: "Today's intense workout regimens allow athletes to progress faster, so naturally, top athletes are seeking ways to recover more quickly after workouts. Thousands of athletes and athletic trainers are turning to cold water immersion to assist in faster recovery."  The traditional method of making cold baths involved dumping large volumes of ice into a tub or whirlpool tank.  Not only is this method costly and messy, it is also labor intensive.  The highly portable COLD DADDY is designed to make cold water immersion baths more accessible and to be a cost effective solution for athletic programs by reducing the added labor requirements associated with ice.
