The company, which was named a winner last month in the national Competitive Bidding Program of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, has become one of the most efficient mail order diabetes companies in the nation, according to CCS Medical Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Zeke Zoccoli .

"We have launched state-of-the-art technology platforms, streamlined our processes and built strong vendor relationships to prepare for this development," Zoccoli said. "We are proud to be a low-cost provider and even more proud that we have accomplished this while keeping 100 percent of our operations in the United States."

Zoccoli underscored CCS Medical's partnership with industry leader LifeScan, Inc.  The two companies recently entered into an agreement to provide diabetes testing supplies to patients across the country and CCS Medical now carries LifeScan's OneTouch® Ultra® test strips.  OneTouch® is the No. 1 brand recommended by endocrinologists and diabetes educators.

"Our relationship with LifeScan further validates CCS Medical's mission of providing high-quality products to patients at a low price," said Zoccoli.  "We are ready to meet the needs of new patients and help them manage their chronic conditions," he said.
