Date:4/7/2011

MORRISTOWN, N.J., April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- C3i, the global leader in technology support and BPO services for the pharmaceutical industry and Oracle Gold Partner, announced today the opening of its new Global Operations Center in China. The operations center, located in the northern city of Dalian, will specialize in providing services in major Asian languages including Chinese, Korean and Japanese, to sponsors and clinical research organizations.

With dramatic growth projected in both clinical trials and pharmaceutical sales, Asia represents a strategic region for the pharmaceutical industry.  In response of this industry trend, the new facility in Dalian addresses the support needs of C3i and Oracle's joint customers doing business in the major Asian markets.

C3i partners with Oracle to provide training, multi-lingual support and business process outsourcing (BPO) services to life science and pharmaceutical organizations worldwide.  From its current operations in North America, Europe and India, C3i supports more than 5,000 clinical trials. Additionally, C3i supports global pharmaceutical sales forces using Oracle Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

"This operations center leverages the tremendous experience we have providing clinical support, training, and administrative services to more than 10 leading sponsors and CROs in Europe and the United States utilizing Oracle's clinical offerings, and allows us to meet the evolving needs of both existing and new customers as they expand into this exciting geographic market," says Joel Morse, CEO of C3i. "C3i is pleased to be expanding our geographic relationship with Oracle. As we open in Dalian, we are supporting four of our current joint Oracle customers and look forward to working with many more in the future."

"Oracle is very excited to have our partner C3i working with us in this important region. With so many joint customers in Asia, it is nice to have partners like C3i who understand our customers' needs as well as Oracle's significant technology offerings," said George Wong, group vice president, Alliances and Channels, Asia Pacific, Oracle.

C3i is currently providing end-to-end support solutions for over 250,000 clinical users and 50,000 pharma sales representatives worldwide.  The Dalian global operations center is fully integrated into C3i's other locations with a single technology infrastructure, shared best practices and a global management team overseeing all of the operations. These combine to ensure quality, consistency and 7x24 reliability for its customers around the globe.

Recently ranked among the top 5 new cities for business in China according to Fortune China's recent survey, C3i selected Dalian, in northeast China, for its overall business environment, the local multilingual talent pool, and the high degree of professionalism in its workforce.
