Braid.Health Announces Appointment of Senior Vice President of Sales

Braid.Health — a digital health innovation company that develops collaborative AI-powered diagnostics tools for radiology and the healthcare industry — today announced the appointment of Connie Phelps as Senior Vice President of Sales.

Phelps brings over 20 years of industry experience, working with health systems in sales and marketing leadership roles. Phelps was essential to the rapid expansion of GE’s Healthcare division worldwide, collaborating closely with global distribution channels in high-growth international markets. As a sales leader for their Cardiology IT business for North America, she developed deep domain expertise in Healthcare IT systems. Phelps also served in a sales leadership role at venture-backed Voalte (now part of Hillrom), where she built a multi-disciplinary sales team to deliver mobile communications and workflow to the healthcare enterprise.

Prior to joining Braid.Health, Phelps was VP of Provider Solutions at Wildflower Health, helping to build and commercialize a mobile patient engagement solution specifically for health systems. Under her leadership, Wildflower’s provider solutions business grew year-over-year and is now the leading revenue driver for the company across all market segments. Phelps will assume an advisory role with Wildflower Health moving forward.

“Having spent the last 6 years in leading mobile health communications and mobile patient engagement companies, I hope to bring a well-rounded perspective to Braid.Health to help accelerate our impact on healthcare,” said Phelps.

“Connie brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team,” said Alessandro Sabatelli, Braid.Health Founder and Chief Product Officer. “Her track record of strategic sales success positions her to accelerate our growth worldwide. Our unique solution delivers instant interpretation and diagnosis for patients globally via our groundbreaking imaging diagnosis and communication platform. She’ll play a pivotal role in our growth as we bring expanded capabilities to market to deliver on our goal of universal access to medical expertise.”

“I’m inspired by Braid’s vision of universal access to care and expertise,” said Phelps. “Our solutions are a clean break from legacy imaging and AI solutions with fragmented workflows, often constrained by cloud dependency and outdated architecture. With Kevin and Alessandro’s experience leading innovations at Apple and Twitter, we are in a unique position to transform healthcare delivery.”
