Blue Belt Technologies kondigt eerste Amerikaanse verkoop aan van het NavioPFS-operatiesysteem

PITTSBURGH, 31 januari, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Belt Technologies, Inc., een innovatief bedrijf voor medische technologie dat zijn orthopedische chirurgische precisiesysteem NavioPFS™ voor gedeeltelijke vervanging van het kniegewricht op de markt heeft gebracht, heeft vandaag de eerste verkoop aangekondigd van het NavioPFS-systeem in de Verenigde Staten. Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA beschikt over een uitstekend en erkend knievervangingsprogramma. Het centrum is een Blue Distinction Center voor vervangingsingrepen voor knie- en heupgewrichten. De verwachting is dat Community Regional het eerste in de Verenigde Staten gevestigde centrum wordt voor Blue Belt en in februari 2013 zal beginnen met het uitvoeren van ingrepen voor een gedeeltelijke vervanging van het kniegewricht met Navio onder leiding van Dr. D. Kevin Lester .

Het NavioPFS-systeem voor gedeeltelijke knievervangingsoperaties maakt gebruik van een geavanceerd platform voor intraoperatieve registratie, planning en navigatie zonder CAT-scan.
