Blue Belt Technologies gibt ersten US-Auftrag für das chirurgische NavioPFS System bekannt

PITTSBURGH, 31. Januar 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Belt Technologies, Inc., ein innovatives medizintechnisches Unternehmen und Vermarkter des orthopädisch-chirurgischen Präzisionssystems für unikondylären Knieersatz, NavioPFS™, gab heute den ersten Auftrag für das NavioPFS System in den Vereinigten Staaten bekannt. Das Community Regional Medical Center [Regionales medizinisches Zentrum] in Fresno, Kalifornien, verfügt als Kompetenzzentrum über ein Gelenkersatzprogramm und ist ein Blue Distinction Center für Knie- und Hüftgelenkersatz. Man erwartet, dass das Community Regional das erste US-amerikanische Zentrum von Blue Belt wird und im Februar 2013 unter der Leitung von Dr. D. Kevin Lester mit Operationen für den partiellen Ersatz des Knies mithilfe von Navio beginnt.

Das NavioPFS System für unikondylären Knieersatz verwendet eine fortschrittliche, CT-freie intraoperative Registrierungs-, Planungs- und Navigationsplattform, die den Chirurgen bei der Entwicklung patientenspezifischer Operationspläne unterstützt.
