BioSurplus Selected to Auction $10 Million in Lab Equipment

SAN DIEGO, June 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSurplus today announced the start of a record setting laboratory auction.  Thousands of instruments worth over $10 million will be auctioned via the BioSurplus online auction site at auctions.biosurplus.com.

The first auction will have choice laboratory equipment including a Bruker 400 mHz UltraShield NMR, many Agilent HPLCs and Mass Specs, Molecular Devices Spectramax M5 plate reader, Biacore 3000, Thermo Deca XP Plus MS , Amersham Biosciences Bioprocess AKTAs, Sartorius 250 and 500 liter Bioreactors, Thermo 3120 hepa filtered CO2 incubators, and more.

There will be a separate non-scientific item auction that will include display cases, furniture, motivational posters, large artificial plants, mailroom furniture, artwork and some rare oriental rugs that were showcased in the original facility.  For updates on that online auction go to auctions.biosurplus.com.

In addition to the current auction and the non-scientific auctions, there will be two more auctions with equally large numbers of very sought after laboratory instruments.
