BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Steps Up for Hurricane Florence Relief With Donation to Samaritan’s Purse
Date:10/5/2018

BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy (BioPlus), one of the nation’s leading innovative specialty pharmacies, announces the donation of $12,000 from a company-matched employee giving program to provide support for those affected in North Carolina and South Carolina by Hurricane Florence. BioPlus serves as a partner for specialty pharmacy care for medical offices, patients, pharmaceutical companies, payers, and employees in the Carolinas, as well as nationwide.

“Watching the devastation of Hurricane Florence in the Carolinas moved BioPlus employees to band together to provide aid and some measure of relief for those communities which are so dear to our hearts,” shares Stephen Vogt, Pharm.D., CEO of BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy. “As donations poured in from our employees, the company matched those donations to amplify our staff’s generous support for our North Carolinian and South Carolinian neighbors. Our thoughts continue to be with the affected families and communities as they recover from the damage and flooding of Hurricane Florence,” he adds.

BioPlus donated to relief efforts organized through Samaritan’s Purse, which is an international evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organization based in North Carolina and run by Franklin Graham.
