BioMed Realty Trust Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option for Common Stock

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BMR) today announced that its underwriters have fully exercised their over-allotment option to purchase additional shares of common stock in connection with BioMed's previously announced follow-on offering that priced on September 23, 2010. In total, the company sold 17,250,000 shares of common stock, raising gross offering proceeds of approximately $301.9 million.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, Raymond James & Associates, Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and UBS Securities LLC are the joint book-running managers, and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. are co-lead managers for the offering.
