Date:12/30/2013

FREDERICK, Md., Dec. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BioElectronics Corporation (OTC Pink: BIEL), the maker of advanced consumer medical devices, announced today that Pros Apac Corporation (www.pros-apac.com) based in Manila will be the exclusive dental distributor for RecoveryRx® in the Philippines.

The global dental equipment and consumables market had an estimated size of US$20 billion. This market, driven by technological advancements, is expected to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 7%, reaching an estimated size of $27.6 billion by 2015.

Pros Apac Corporation has been in the dental distribution business in the Philippines for more than 17 years (1996) and carries Orthodontics, Dental Implants, and Dental Aesthetic products.  The company distributes only high quality and technologically-advanced products from reputable dental manufacturers.  Their Vision is "TO PUT THE SMILE BACK ON EVERY FILIPINO".

"Our company is proud of our new partnership with BioElectronics Corporation", said Renato S. Angeles, General Manager of Pros Apac Corporation.  "We look forward to marketing and distributing their high-tech award-winning product for pain reduction and rapid healing in the entire Philippines."

RecoveryRx®, a drug-free medical device is conveniently available for postoperative recovery and wound care.  RecoveryRx® has been successfully used for dental applications, including the reduction of pain, edema and analgesic requirement for dental implants. Clinical research, including the 3rd Molar Extraction study currently being conducted at Tufts Dental School, Boston, USA will help drive the dental market for RecoveryRx®. This study is now recruiting patients, after a significant delay while a new principal investigator Dr. Gilmore took over the project. As well as documenting pain levels, and analgesic medication use, the study will quantify edema following extraction with 3D digital imaging and software technology (3dMDTM, Atlanta, Georgia, USA - www.3dmd.com).
