Bio Careers Adds 9 Universities, Reaching 40 Members

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Jan. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nine prominent science institutions have joined Bio Careers, the nation's leading online job board and careers site for graduate level life science professionals.  In total, Bio Careers now has 40 institutional members, all among the top graduate programs in the life sciences.

Brandeis, Florida State, Gladstone Institute, Purdue, Stony Brook, Louisville, Rochester, University of Texas Medical Branch, and Virginia Commonwealth are now members of the job board, joining other major life science training institutions.

The job board, www.biocareers.com, is only for postgraduates in the life sciences. While there are hundreds of life science career sites on the Internet, Bio Careers is the only one that serves postgraduates life scientists exclusively.

Bio Careers' institution consortium also includes Brown, Caltech, Cedars Sinai, City of Hope, Columbia, Cornell, Emory, Georgetown, M.D. Anderson, Mount Sinai, National Institutes of Health (5 Institutes), Scripps Institute, Stanford, UCLA, UCSF, University of Colorado Denver, University of Massachusetts Medical School, University of Miami, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington and others.
