Big Pharma to Come Together at ChemOutsourcing 2013 in Long Branch, New Jersey, Sept 16-19

TEANECK, N.J., Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Legions of chemistry sourcing executives from the world's largest pharmaceutical companies will be gathering at Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, NJ next week to attend the annual ChemOutsourcing show, reports Mark Alexay, the event organizer.

"This year's banner turnout of Big Pharma executives comes as a pleasant surprise", remarked Alexay in the days before the show. "The event is located in the epicenter of the pharmaceutical industry and their many suppliers will be at the show. Nearly 200 sourcing and procurement professionals from area companies like Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, Pfizer, and GlaxoSmithKline will be coming.  Midwest companies like Eli Lilly and AbbVie will be well represented, too."

Alexay went on to comment, "I think the recovering pharmaceutical economy has helped attendance this year. After 5 years of anemic funding of early stage biotech we are now seeing an uptick in investment.  This has helped finance new discovery research and today there now more compounds in clinical development. This has spurred business for the CRO's and CMO's that undergird the effort".

ChemOutsourcing, in its 7th year, will take place September 16-19, 2013.

Over 100 exhibitors of custom synthesis and related services will participate, as will 750 total attendees.  The show is centered in the exhibit halls during the day and at night, socializing events like the annual Beach Party and Casino Night provide a relaxed atmosphere for networking.  Attendees are from Big Pharma as well as from dozens of medium sized and '"Emeerging" pharmaceutical companies. The supplier base if contract research aand development is also in attendance. Delegates from about 30 countries in North America, Europe, India, and China.
