Bell Medical and ITelagen Welcome Final Rule for 'Meaningful Use' of Electronic Health Records

Under the HITECH Act of 2009, health care professionals can qualify for incentive payments when they adopt certified EHR technology, such as Allscripts EHR from ITelagen and Bell Medical. The regulations announced today define the "meaningful use" objectives that providers must meet to earn these financial incentives for automating as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
