Bayer Employee Named Rising Star by Healthcare Businesswomen's Association

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., May 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bayer HealthCare is pleased to announce that Carla Oliveira  has  been named a Rising Star by The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA).  She was honored at the annual HBA Woman of the Year luncheon in New York City on May 9.

Carla is the Global Brand Leader for Contour® USB within Bayer's Diabetes Care Division.  The honor is bestowed upon professionals who contribute significantly to their organizations, exemplify leadership, are role models for others and exhibit dedication to the healthcare industry.

Carla was honored for her exemplary business leadership and commitment to the Women's Leadership and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives at Bayer.
