BayMark Health Services Opens Opioid Addiction Treatment Center Near Denver
Date:1/30/2019

BayMark Health Services announced today the opening of BAART Programs Brighton, its first opioid treatment program in Colorado, now accepting patients. The clinic is located at 5 South 1st Avenue, Brighton, CO. BAART Programs Brighton will provide safe, effective medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling for those struggling with opioid use disorder.

“No community has been left untouched by the devastating impacts of opioid addiction. In 2017, more Coloradans died from drug overdoses than any year in the state’s history at more than 550 deaths.” noted David K. White, Ph.D., CEO of BayMark Health Services. “Our focus at BayMark is offering access to proven treatment modalities to as many patients in need as possible. We open programs in areas where treatment options for opioid addiction are limited and there is an identified need, and we found that need in Colorado.”

BAART Programs are known across the country as providers of quality, evidence-based methadone and buprenorphine treatment centers. The Brighton program will provide addiction education, relapse prevention, lab testing, coordinated care for pregnancy and linkages to community resources to assist patients on their path to recovery. Their mission is to provide comprehensive medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and other health care services to foster wellness, longevity and socially responsible behavior for the patients we serve.

Chief Operating Officer Frank Baumann added, “We are glad to be bringing the BAART treatment model to Colorado for the first time. Our medically-supervised treatment programs have provided the opportunity for meaningful recovery to thousands of Americans. Our medical, clinical and administrative staff offer compassionate, effective treatment to those struggling with this disease. We believe we can deliver a valuable service to those individuals and their families in the greater Denver area.”
