BD Announces 2011 Analyst Day and Webcast

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J., Oct. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --  BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) (NYSE: BDX) announced today that it will host an institutional investor and analyst meeting on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in New York City from 7:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. (ET).  The meeting will update the investment community on BD's corporate strategy, focusing on investing and innovating for growth.  

Live webcasts of the 90-minute General Session at 7:45 a.m. and the 30-minute Q & A Session at 12:15 p.m. will be accessible through BD's website at www.bd.com/investors.  A replay of the webcasts will be available through Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
