B. Riley Revises Timing of STAAR Surgical Presentation at Investor Conference

MONROVIA, Calif., May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- STAAR Surgical Company (NASDAQ: STAA), a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of implantable lenses for the eye, today announced that its presentation time at the 13th Annual B. Riley & Co. Investor Conference has been revised and will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 now at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time.Barry G. Caldwell, President and CEO, will review the company's recent financial results and current business developments. Deborah Andrews, CFO, will also be attending.  STAAR will offer a live video webcast of its presentation on the Company's website, www.staar.com, under Investor Information.
