B. Braun Awarded Premier Healthcare Alliance Contract for Dual-Source IV

BETHLEHEM, Pa., Aug. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- B. Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) announced today that it has been selected by Premier, a collaborative nationwide healthcare alliance of approximately 2,900 hospitals and health systems, with a dual-source IV Solutions contract award through January 31, 2020.

"B.Braun's long-term investment in the IV product space has been rewarded, recognized and valued by the Premier membership," said Scott Quilty, Corporate Vice President at B.Braun.

Through these new contracts, Premier members can benefit from B.Braun's IV fluids, bag-based drug delivery and TPN nutrition along with its leading line of needle-free devices and IV sets, and its multiple platforms of infusion pump technology.
