Azantis Announces New Consumer Safety Program
Date:10/7/2010

BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Marine biotechnology specialist Azantis, Inc. has made a new post-marketing surveillance program available to its clients, in an effort to provide continued high quality service to the consumer.  By entering into an agreement with SafetyCall International, Azantis has partnered with the recognized leader in Adverse Event Management and Post-Market Surveillance services.

SafetyCall medical and toxicology professionals are recognized experts in the collection and interpretation of spontaneously reported incident data.  For the past 25 years, SafetyCall professionals managed over 1.5 million product incident cases, positively impacting the safety of products worldwide.

As a client of SafetyCall, Azantis invites all its clients to place the SafetyCall number on their finished product labels.  In the event of a complaint, incident, or adverse event, the consumer calls the number.  SafetyCall medical professionals engage the consumer, to better understand the nature of the complaint—often interacting directly with the consumer's personal physician.  This depth of case management helps consumers assess whether the event is truly attributable to the product.  Krill oil consumers benefit from the free service, because they can quickly access a medical professional familiar with this class of products, who can address their safety concerns. Azantis krill oil resellers benefit from this service, because they share a strong common safety record, and have an independent professional service assisting them with evaluating any possible adverse medical incident.

With over 100 million capsules sold, Azantis has an exemplary safety record as krill oil supplier, with no adverse eve
