Axis Global Logistics Names Mr. Thomas Brennan, Vice President Strategic Accounts & Life Sciences

MASPETH N.Y., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Axis Global Logistics, a provider of premium global expedited transportation, logistics, and warehouse fulfillment services, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Tom Brennan as Vice President Strategic Accounts & Life Sciences. In his role, Mr. Brennan will be responsible for implementing and accelerating critical strategic initiatives such as expansion, implementation and integration efforts of services to the Life Science sectors. Additionally, Mr. Brennan will be capturing scheduled and on-demand contracts with a diverse customer base consisting of, but not limited to, market segments providing transport of organs, cadaveric tissue, diagnostic specimens, cord blood, laboratory animals, medical devices, cell therapy, clinical trials, and radio-pharmaceuticals. Axis's long-term strategy is to provide more robust service offerings to a more diverse market place while replicating and scaling its existing offerings.

Transportation of Life Science shipments require precise processes and the logistical expertise of seasoned veterans. These service offerings will include Same Day service, Time Definite service; Next Day integrated service, International Expedited, Hand Carry/OBC, Aircraft Charters and Dedicated Ground service.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, at the AirNet headquarters, Mr. Brennan played the key role in solidifying AirNet's long-term viability as technological advancements fueled the need to migrate from core service offerings and explore emerging and high-growth markets. Brennan researched, identified, and gained entry into key accounts, replicating and scaling each account's infrastructure to fuel expansion focusing in the Life Science sectors.
