Award-Winning Thermal Angel Selected as Winner for 'Outstanding Military Product of the Year'

"We are deeply honored that the Thermal Angel technology is being recognized by the IDGA for its positive, life-saving impact on U.S. military personnel, particularly on the battlefield," said Jay Lopez.

The IDGA is a non-partisan information-based organization dedicated to the promotion of innovative ideas in public service and defense through live conferences and events.

Brandon Lopez said: "My father, brother and I have a deep respect for our military men and women and their families. We're proud and grateful that our product – the Thermal Angel – plays a significant role in alleviating and preventing deadly complications resulting from far-forward battlefield injuries suffered by military patients."

Last week, IDGA held the MHCC (Military Healthcare Convention & Conference) and Awards presentation where the winner was announced.

According to the IDGA, the recipient of the award must be a product that has "a significant positive impact in the care of the U.S. military personnel or their families."

Over the last several years, the battery-powered Thermal Angel has been extensively used as the portable blood and IV fluid warmer within the Department of Defense (D
