Avant Healthcare Marketing Announces West Coast Expansion
Date:8/23/2011

CARMEL, Ind., Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- After several years of successful partnerships with California-based biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device firms, Avant Healthcare Marketing has opened offices on the West Coast, marking the beginning of a long-term expansion for the Midwest medical communications agency.

"We've experienced unprecedented momentum in the last year," said Rod Julian, Strategic Brand Network Director for Avant. "But we haven't lost sight of the importance of face-to-face interactions as the optimal means of comprehensively understanding our customers' objectives."

The agency's expansion to offices in the Southern California area will entail both relocations from Indiana and the acquisition of new staff from the region.

"This move is both the culmination of a great track record with West Coast clients," added Julian, "and a decision to ramp up our team of driven and creative marketing and medical professionals in order to maintain a high level of service to our growing customer base."

Avant, an affiliate of DWA Healthcare Communications Group, offers a full array of peer-to-peer marketing services and products that enable clients to understand and expand their customer base, implement key brand directives, and develop comprehensive channel tactics guided by real-time tracking and data analysis.

"At the foundation of this exciting development is our core mission to remain committed to our customers and meet their needs with immediacy and excellence, no matter where they are located," said Tammy Prouty, Chief Officer of Avant. "Our West Coast expansion is not only an opportunity to deepen our investment in our clients' success, but also in ourselves as we continue to pursue ventures where the standard for compliance, customer service, and innovation is high."
