Anthony Creed Joins DDSTUDIO As GM, Experience Design

SAN DIEGO, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- San Diego-based design company DDSTUDIO today announced the appointment of Anthony "Ant" Creed as general manager of experience design. In this role, Creed will drive the vision, strategy and execution of research-based product design intended to elicit positive customer experiences. Creed's background in experience design aligns with DDSTUDIO's mission to collaborate with corporate clients in the creation of groundbreaking products that improve the lives of users.

In his new role at DDSTUDIO, Creed will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing a user experience design strategy for the Company's clients, while leading other members of its user experience-user interface team. "Experience design" is the practice of understanding all aspects of a person's experience with and emotional response to a product, including the interface, graphics, industrial design, and physical interaction.

Originally from England, Creed brings deep knowledge gained through a variety of positions at leading high-tech companies including Intuit Inc., where he worked on the TurboTax team before being promoted to chief architect, experience design for the company's flagship QuickBooks product. He has held positions at design firms IDEO and Philips Design, and managed design and development teams at Sony Electronics and Kodak Imagination Works. Most recently, Creed was the vice president of experience design at Kelley Blue Book, where he implemented the design strategy for all of their software products and services.
