Amylin Pharmaceuticals to Present at The Barclays Capital 2010 Global Healthcare Conference

SAN DIEGO, March 16, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMLN) will be presenting at the Barclays Capital Global Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:15 a.m. ET / 8:15 a.m. PT in Miami. David Maggs, M.D., vice president, research and development strategic relations at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, will provide a corporate overview.

The presentation will be webcast live through the "Investors" section of Amylin's corporate Web site at www.amylin.com, and a recording will be made available on the Web site following the event.
